"The Stearns History Museum was fortunate to have Bert Blyleven as the presenter at our annual fundraising event. This morning, less the 12 hours after the event, calls began coming in from our members attending the festivities. They used words like warm, gracious, funny, and generous to describe Bert. His connection with the audience whether baseball fan or not was evident. Even if someone didn't know much about the game they were drawn in by his baseball stories that had both broad appeal and universal messages.
